Bobcats get Come From Behind Win
Article By: Texas State snaps a 5 game losing streak as they defeat Arkansas State to get their 1st win of what has turned out to be a very underachieving season.
The man of the game was Ismail Mahdi. The preseason 1st team all-conference runningback has underperformed, to say the least, so far this young season. With that said, Mahdi accounted for 287 yards out of the Bobcats' 400 yards of total offense, including 2 of the 4 offensive TDs.
"He was a man amongst boys out there tonight", states Coach RanDawg during the post-game press conference. "When we handed him the ball he found holes in the defense. When we threw the ball, he was the guy that was getting open."
