The Cardiac Knights strike again, this time playing at UAB. Army looked poor at the beginning, being down 17-6 at halftime. The Black Knights come back at the last minute against UAB, but the defense was unable to hold the UAB air attack, giving up the game losing TD as time expired.
Passing was non-existent for Army, as Daily threw for 3 INTs and no TDs.
Senior Quarterback had a very slow start against army scoring only three points in the first five Blazer drives, two of which ended in interceptions. The Blazer defense kept the team in the game, allowing army to only score six points and getting a pick six with less than a minute to go in the half. On Army's next drive, they went three and out and gave UAB the ball back with 30 seconds and all three timeouts. Finally Jacob Zeno came to life and put a drive together scoring a touchdown to put the Blazers up 17-6 at the half.
Again Jacob Zeno and the Blazers offense came out to a slow start with another interception and punt on their first two drives. The defense also began to wear down as Army's dominant run game kept pushing allowing the Black Knights to control the clock and score 14 points in the fourth quarter. Their last score put the Golden Knights up 28-24 with only 26 seconds on the clock. Jacob Zeno led the Blazers offense down the field once again, throwing a 19-yard game winning pass to Tight End Bryce Damous with no time remaining. With another miracle win for the Blazers, I think it is safe to say this team might have some magic to them.
