The Tigers offense was methodical and poised to take a three score lead when they missed an easy FG. FSU grabbed that bit of momentum and used it to propel them to a quick score.
Clemson scored in the third quarter and led 21-7. FSU capitalized on poor play calling. With the lead Clemson still chose to throw the ball and threw their way into momentum swinging interceptions. The Seminoles capitalized on numerous second half mistakes to win the rivalry game.
"We are an example of self inflicted wounds" said Coach Ry. " We need to find a way to clean this up. "
