The Hawkeyes led from start to finish in their home upset against Ohio State. The Iowa offense would get the ball first, and they would quickly go down and score a rushing TD behind Heisman hopeful Kaleb Johnson.
Iowa's defense would essentially take it from there. The D would force 5 interceptions on the day while limiting the highly touted Buckeye's running game to 41 yards on the ground.
The offense was up to the test as well. HB Kaleb Johnson would rush for 222 yards on 30 carries while scoring 3 TDs. Johnson is now 2nd in the league with 1028 rushing yards in 5 games. That corn money the Hawkeyes boosters coughed up to land Kaleb in the transfer portal seems to really be paying off.
The schedule doesn't get any easier, as Iowa will travel to Washington and host Michigan State in their next slate of games.

Iowa ran the ball... a lot. OSU made some very dumb mistakes early that handed Iowa some good field position and possession of the momentum an the game script, and OSU was not able to recover.
Johnson was the MVP for the Hawkeyes but Howard was a close second by handing them the ball 5 times.
GG Wildes. Best of luck the rest of the way
