FORT WORTH, TX – The TCU Horned Frogs endured a tough night at home, falling to the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks, 45-10, in a game that exposed both strengths and weaknesses on the field. The Jayhawks, defending national champions and the current top team in the nation, proved why they’re at the pinnacle of NDL college football, controlling the game from the outset and never relinquishing their dominance.

For TCU, the game marked their first loss of the season, bringing their record to 4-1. Despite the Horned Frogs’ promising start to the year, Kansas presented a challenge they couldn’t overcome, especially with the repeated mistakes that plagued their offense.

Quarterback Josh Hoover struggled mightily under the pressure of Kansas’s defense, throwing five interceptions that repeatedly shifted momentum in favor of the Jayhawks. Each turnover further hindered TCU's ability to establish rhythm and mount any sustained offensive drive, leaving the Horned Frogs often scrambling for answers on both sides of the ball.

TCU’s only touchdown of the night came from a thrilling 101-yard kick return by wide receiver Jojo Earle, providing a brief spark of hope for the home crowd. However, the Jayhawks quickly regained control, with their efficient offense and stifling defense ensuring TCU had few opportunities to claw their way back into the game.

The Horned Frogs will look to regroup and address their issues in the coming weeks, with hopes of learning from this humbling loss and continuing to build on their strong start to the season. Meanwhile, Kansas’s convincing performance reaffirmed their place atop the rankings and reinforced their status as the team to beat in college football.

This combination of offensive firepower and defensive fortitude set a strong precedent for future matchups, solidifying the team's dominance on the field.
