Buffs Stampede Rams in Boulder
Article By: Buffs Stampede Rams in Boulder: Hunter's Heroics Steal the Show
In what can only be described as an old-fashioned beatdown, the Colorado Buffaloes dismantled the Colorado State Rams 49-14 in Boulder. It was a game so one-sided, Rams fans started Googling "how to cancel a road trip" by halftime. The Buffs, led by the unstoppable Travis Hunter, racked up 458 total yards of offense, making it look more like a high-scoring practice scrimmage than a rivalry game.
Travis Hunter was everywhere—and we mean everywhere. The guy was so busy making highlight plays, he might have logged more steps on his Fitbit than some of us do in a week. On offense, Hunter hauled in 5 catches for 251 yards and 3 touchdowns, including a ridiculous touchdown 75-yard bomb that probably had the Rams' secondary Googling "how to play defense." But why stop there? On defense, he casually added 3 interceptions and a pick-six, just to remind everyone that, yes, he can do literally everything.
As for the rest of the Buffaloes, they were no slouches either, combining for 49 points and leaving the Rams searching for answers (and possibly an exorcist). The Buffs’ defense played like they had a personal vendetta against anyone wearing green, while the offense looked like they were auditioning for a spot in Madden. In the end, it was clear that Colorado owned the state on this night—and probably the search history of every Rams fan who just couldn’t take it anymore.
