All the action in this one happened in the 2q. The 1q both teams were just figuring each other out. Turnovers the difference. TT started off the scoring when McCray was able to hall in a 67yd Td to make 7-0 Red Raiders. ole Miss would answer 30 secs later Dart hit Harris on a crossing route and he made a defender miss and that’s she wrote 7-7. Ole Miss would miss a Fg midway through the 2q and TT couldn’t get much going. Burt would throw a pick in the Redzone at the 10yd. Ole Miss probably thinking TT is fine with 7-7 deep in its own end, Morten would hit Kelly for a 90yd TD to make it 14-7. Burt would throw a 56yd pick 6 when McCarty stepped in front a throw. He would go untouched for the score to make it 21-7. Bth these scores were inside 1:30 to play in the half. Ole Miss trying for points before the half……..Burt would throw another pic and TT with 12 secs to go would run the ball and Garcia would add the 29yd FG to send it to half Texas Tech 24-7. 2nd half TT would grab a couple more picks and Ole Miss just couldnt it going in this one. Final score 24-9.

We had a tough time in the redzone today, to many mental mistakes. We were throwing into double and triple coverage when we had wide open check down guys. It's all in the little things. Once we learn to capitalize on the big plays and keep our blocks maintained I think this team can turn it around quickly. Trust the process.
