Arkansas Tops UNC With a Last Second 3

It was a back and forth offensive showdown in Fayetteville, and the home team had the ball at the end to kick the field goal to win the game, downing UNC's hopes for a road win. Both teams moved the ball at will throughout, but despite winning the turnover battle for a change, Carolina couldn't make stops on defense when they needed them. Carolina's coach stated after the game, "This is a tough one to lose because we played well enough to win, but credit Arkansas for making one more play than we did."
