To say that NC State can't pass on this game is an understatement! QB Grayson McCall went 18 of 36 and 7 interceptions... Yes 7!!! 4 of which were taken to the house and even after spotting his old team, Coastal Carolina, 28 points he was able to find the right team for 3 touchdowns of his own.
In the game NC State had 464 yards of total offense and Coastal had 189 yards... usually the Pack should win there right?!?! Nope, Coastal's offense had yet to see the field and were up 14-0 after two pick six's to start the game. Despite the stellar defensive effort, they couldn't match the 7 turnovers thrown by McCall. NC State is now 0-2 vs Sun Belt teams and only heading into ACC play looking for stellar improvement!!!!

The old adage that winning the turnover battle is essential if you want to win the game came true today as Coastal Carolina eked out a 34-27 victory over NC State despite not scoring an offensive touchdown. Coach FiredUpChip commented, "ICE's defense was just too good for us today, so we decided we would remind Grayson McCall of all the fun times we used to have together, and for old time's sake he threw the ball to the teal jersey's 7 times."
