NDL: S29W2 - James Madison (28) at Washington (14)

So far a sad start for the once proud Huskies football program

Huskies lose to the Dukes, 28-14

Article By: Doodee

Coach Doodee and the Washington Huskies fell to Coach Relio95 and the James Madison Dukes, 28-14 in Seattle, with the help of two pick sixes.

"We just couldn't stop shooting ourselves in the foot," said Doodee. "These interceptions are just out of hand."

The scoring started in the first quarter with a 37 yard interception return on the Huskies' first possession. After a successful touchdown drive culminating in a 15 yard TD pass from Will Rogers to Denzel Boston, the Dukes went on a 21-0 scoring run behind the second pick six of 78 yards, then two touchdowns from Ayo Adeyi. Washington was able to score again in the 4th quarter on a Jonah Coleman run, but was unable to stop the Dukes from running out the clock.

"We're having fun, and we're getting to know each other on this team. Hopefully we can learn to pass a little better and get the timing down online eventually."
