Coach Wave had his Badgers coming into today's game motivated and ready to play and to continue improving! Coach knew this would be a learning season since he has had no scrimmages or practice before the season so every game is he is learning as the season go by...Badgers had a few chances to keep this closer than the score appears but costly turnovers deep inside your side of the field helped the Bulldogs! Badgers played a well balanced game and will look to capitalize of this game going forward...
Mississippi St traveled north to Camp Randell for their first road game of the season, an as the old adage goes, defense an run game will always travel. The Bulldog ground game accounted for 126 yards on the day, Senior RB Davon Booth raked up 86 yards an 1 TD. QB Blake Shapen who his known to get it done through the air also pitched in on the ground as he would go for a 9 yard scamper in the first half.
The talk around town will be about the Bulldog defense who was flying around all day, making things very difficult for Wisconsin SR QB Tyler van Dyke. The Bulldog defense would pick Van Dyke off 4 times an also force a fumble that would be returned for 6 to help set the tone early. Mississippi State improves to 3-0 on the season an will return home for their conference opener against the undefeated Gators
