In a tough matchup against Florida, Colorado State fell 38-24 despite a valiant effort. The Rams struggled against the Gators relentless offense, with Buom Jock facing a particularly challenging game. Jock had a mixed performance, recording 7 tackles but failing to make a significant impact in other areas. He had one fumble and one interception, but also struggled with missed opportunities. His contributions were overshadowed by Florida’s strong offensive showing, which ultimately proved too much for Colorado State to overcome. The Gators’ balanced attack and effective game management secured their victory, leaving the Rams to regroup and focus on their next challenge.
The Florida Gators brought a balanced offensive attack to power past Colorado State. Montrell Johnson Jr. had an incredible day rushing for 103 yards and catching 9 passes for 90 yards. In addition he had 2 rushing touchdowns and even a passing touchdown. He was the difference maker in the second half that allowed Florida to create a 14 point lead. Despite an offense that had 3 turnovers it was able to put up points at a premium. Rookie coach @coachjack has been happy with the way the offense has performed over the last three games but still is not happy with the mistakes and turnovers that are still occuring, and says the defense still needs to be better.
