The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets failed to ride their momentum to another win Tuesday night as the Minutemen wasted no time getting on the scoreboard. UMass visited the end zone on their first drive, setting the precedent for the rest of the game.
Down 14-10, Haynes King threw two interceptions to end of the first half that UMass took advantage of to make it a 28-10 game at halftime. GT gave UMass a scare in the third quarter, pulling back to 31-24 with an opportunity to tie before Haynes King threw some desperation interceptions in the fourth quarter. UMass took advantage again, easily finishing off the Yellow Jackets with a 45-24 final score.
