Jags disappoint home fans in home opener

The University of South Alabama Jags fell short to the undefeated Toledo Rockets in their night time home opener on Saturday. The game started as a defensive battle but the offenses picked up as the Toledo running game proved unstoppable. The Jags answered back with some quick strike TDs including a 77 yard punt return. However, it was not enough for the Toledo running game machine. Jags now look to travel to App State in what will prove to be a tough SunBelt opener for them.
