USM spent almost their entire budget traveling their team and personnel to the islands of Hawaii for this non conference matchup with longtime pal, Jeffdaddy.
USM came out sharp after partying late into the previous evening with their hosts which included a luau with only the finest the islands had to offer. Both coaches were seen wearing sunglasses on the sidelines in this one.
"We thank Jeff for his hospitality, its not everyday we get to make a trip like this and we enjoyed it, FYEAH!"
USM was led by rb Rodrigues Clark who gashed the Rainbow Warriors for 4 rushing TD's.
USM remains unbeaten on the season with Buffalo and the Lousiana Rajin Cajuns next up on the schedule.
Southern Miss and Coach DRiccio came into the island and claimed their spot with the ladies as they took apart the Rainbow.
The Southern Miss balanced attack from QB Tate Rodemaker and RB Rodrigues Clark were just too much for the hungover Rainbow players who were dehydrated from the night before.
" I took the guys out late last night, and I made a mistake....I thought we had tougher guys on the squad, " said Coach JeffDaddy in his post game press conference.
"Guys just aren't built like they used to be...we've got to recruit tougher guys," Coach JefffDaddy continued to remark.
The Rainbow QB Brayden Schager tossed the pill around going 21-30 with 403 yards and 3 tds...BUT, he made a costly error diving to get into field goal position instead of sliding and he fumbled that thing...HAWK TUAH!
The Rainbow head to San Diego to take take on the Aztecs next in Mountain West play.
