Georgia St suffers an opening season loss at the hands of the powerful Georgia Bulldogs behind a strong rushing attack.
UGA stormed out to a 35-0 lead in the first quarter. Georgia St never mounted a come as they turned the ball over 7 times and put up 184 years of offense.
Coach Beercop thinks UGA if the best team in the nation and only complacency could stop them as they are loaded on both sides of the ball.
The Georgia St schedule looks to lighten up a little bit with a west coast trip to Fresno St Bulldogs.
The the start of NDL season 29 underway, the Bulldogs found themselves starting out as host to the Panthers. UGA never takes any team lightly and started the game off in strong fashion. With solid play on both sides of the ball, the Bulldogs walked away with the win. Trevor Etienne took the stage with 282 yards on the ground on 15 touches for 2 TD's. Roderick Robinson III also had a solid day rushing for 115 on 18 touches. Jared Wilson and Earnest Greene III paved the way for the backs as they two had a combined 30 pancakes on the day. The Bulldog defense was the backbone holding the Panthers to under 200 total yards and causing 7 total turnovers on the day. UGA plans to take this momentum into week 2 and they push for a solid run here in season 29. GA State has a solid coach and Coach Cane thinks they will do well in their conference.
