Article By: The Boilermakers defeated the Hoosiers 34-14, taking home the Old Oaken Bucket.
The game started off with a long 45 score from Hoosier RB Elijah Sarratt. The Boilermakers were able to strike back on a 3rd down 42 yard pass to WR CJ Smith. This would be the only passing TD on the day for the Boilermakers, who struggled with consistency in the throwing game. "Hudson was dealing with an illness, we expect the passing game to pick back up in our next game."
The Boilermakers were able to overcome their woes in their air by way of a dominate performance by RB Devin Mockobee, who ended the day with 209 all purposes yards and 3 TDs. 2 of these rushing TDs came in the second quarter for Mockobee. The Boilermakers defense was able to hold the Hoosiers this quarter, highlighted by a forced fumble.
The stout Boilermakers defense held strong in the 3rd, holding the Hoosiers scoreless once against and forcing turnovers. The Boilermakers were able to score another Devin Mockobee touchdown and a field goal to go up 31-7.
The Hoosiers made it interesting in the 4th, connecting on a 4th and 18 play that went for a 40 yard completion. The Hoosiers were able to score on a 36 yard TD pass to EJ Williams Jr. Another Boilermakers field goal and an interception by Thiemann ended the game.

Hoosiers Drown in Old Oaken Bucket
Article By: Saturday the Boilermakers rolled into
Bloomington with a purpose. The Hoosiers took it right down the field with a good mix of pass before breaking a 36 yard reverse for the touchdown and taking the 7-7 lead. Lolz
After evening the score the Hoosiers took a break until the 4th quarter while watching Perdue run the same three runs to the right behind the impressive center and tackle.
Late in the 4th quarter Perdue up 31-7 rather than control the clock decided to throw a 20 yard pass on second down before their drive finally stalled.
Indiana took it upon themselves to run the clock mixing things up before obtains their final touchdown.
Perdue had the best defense we saw by far this year said coach P. It’s unfortunate they didn’t things rolling earlier in the season. I think they could have won our conference.
