Georgia State Ground Pounded In Final

Article By: beercop

The Georgia State Panthers lost their season final being gashed on the ground by the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. Carolina was so efficient on the ground they did not attempt a single pass while tier stud running back Brayden Bennett accumulated 203 yards, most in the first half. The Chanticleers racked up 363 yard on the ground on 56 carries with three touchdowns

Costal went up 14-0 in the first quarter off their running game while the Panthers' kept shooting themselves in the foot with mistakes. Ga St scored a TD in the 3rd quarter to pull to 14-7. Then Costal pulled away and iced the game running the ball.

Tale of 2 One Dimensional Offenses

Article By: FiredUpChip

Coastal continued to stay unbeaten in conference play with a 21-7 win over Georgia State which saw the rare occurrence of each offense being limited to complete 1-dimensionality. Coastal managed to achieve 0 passing yards and never even had quarterback Ethan Vasko drop back to pass, while Georgia State was unable to muster a single rushing yard.

Head coach FiredUpChip felt that this was a “gritty” win that his team needed with a massive Fun Belt championship game looming. Running back Braydon Bennett was again dominant and has earned himself serious consideration for the Walker Award at the end of this year.

Ethan Vasko has become the king of taking a backseat and today was yet another example of how Coastal has been able to have a good year without stellar quarterback play.
