Alabama Closes out Season with Loss

Article By: usmarine7t

Alabama Crimson Tide's 2024 season came to a painful conclusion with a devastating 35-10 home loss to archrival Auburn Tigers in the Iron Bowl. It marks a dismal end to a season that Crimson Tide fans will want to forget, as Alabama finishes with a 3-9 record, their worst in years.

Auburn set the tone early, dismantling Alabama’s offense with relentless pressure and capitalizing on every mistake. Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe struggled mightily, throwing four interceptions—one of which was returned 72 yards for a touchdown, sealing the game. Alabama’s star wide receiver, Kendrick Law, was kept in check all afternoon, tallying just 50 yards in the air as Auburn's defense suffocated Alabama’s attack.

For head coach USMarine7t, this game symbolized the end of a tough chapter. Known for high expectations and intense scrutiny, Alabama’s challenging season has left USMarine7t looking for a fresh start. With his future uncertain, Coach USMarine7t expressed excitement for the chance to rebuild his legacy at a program with lower expectations, hoping to find renewed success in the next chapter of his coaching career.

The Iron Bowl defeat punctuated Auburn’s dominant season, while Alabama heads into the offseason with more questions than answers. All eyes will now be on Coach USMarine7t as he seeks a new home to revive his coaching career in the NDL.

Tigers defense picked off Milroe 4 times and took one to the house

Auburn wins Iron Bowl!

Auburn started down 7-0 on a brilliant pass that gave coach mcx79 fear of a long game ahead but the defense settled in and on their next time out tied the game with a 70+ yard pick 6. From that moment on the Auburn QB found his rhythm and went 12/16 with 3 TD's. One of which came just before half time making the score 21-10. The Tigers defense played well in the second half keeping Alabama off the scoreboard and from having consistent drives. Two more games for coach mcx79 on the Plains, hopefully hes done well enough to be invited back. Its been a great time here at Auburn. Some amazingly close games with the best coaches in the league. Some forgetful games too!
