Kentucky's first SEC game against Texas was a reminder how much tougher the SEC has now become.

Kentucky started off the game brilliantly by marching down the field and capping it with a TD pass to Barion Brown. Everything seemed to click both in the running and passing game.

After the initial shock wore off the Texas team gathered themselves and played stingy defense. Kentucky couldn't get much going after that first drive. The game was close at halftime with Texas leading only 14-7.

But the INT bug came biting once again and Brock V proceeded to throw 4 interceptions in the game. Texas would take advantage of the turnovers and converting to 2 interceptions into touchdowns.
The longhorn offense also settled into the game and Kentucky was not able to get them off the field.

Kentucky now looks to finish out the season against Louisville at home.
