OSU offense was firing on all cylinders and despite some early struggles on big plays, the defense stood firm. Matthews had a 102 yard INT return for a TD when Indiana inexplicably passed the ball 3 times from the 1 yard line after 1st and goal. That was really the turning point where Indiana lost any positive momentum they had
Judkins had a good day on the ground and Howard had an efficient day in the air.

Long time Buckeye Fan, and Columbus native Coach P. chose to take pity on the Buckeyes and share the ball. Overmatched, and outmanned, the Buckeyes needed all the help they could get Saturday in the Shoe.
Coach P decided the Hoosier run game would be too hard for the Buckeyes to stop so they chose to pass the ball around to 11 different receivers. Still the dominant Hoosier run game crept through to the game averaging 7 yards per attempt and adding to their nearly 600 yards of offense.
