Shocker in the Little Apple

Article By: bearass

MANHATTAN, KANSAS - AP

What a game from the little apple. Kansas State overcame 3 first half interceptions to storm back and tie the game right before the half. Cincinnati running back was on fire with broken ankles all over the field. One move and big gainer many times for a TD was the recipe as the Wildcats seemed outclassed by their animal cousin Bearcats. As the second half moved back and forth it seemed whoever had the ball last would be the victor. With about 5 minutes left in the game the defenses each made critical stops. K-State got the ball drove down and with about 1:30 left Edwards broke didn't go down, which would prove costly, and scored the go ahead TD. The Bearcats returned the favor methodically and quickly moving the ball down the field with the same opportunity to fall on it and run clock punched it in as points are never guaranteed in CFB 25. Johnson then moved the Cats down the field using primary receiver Cephas as a decoy and hitting the outside man on a skinny post with 1 second remaining securing the 4th conference win for the boys from Manhattan.

Great Game Shady. GL the rest of the way.

*Most K-State player stats are season avgs due to film loss on the K-State side only.*

Cincy Officially on a Skid!

Article By: ShadyNasty

A great game was played today by Kansas State and Cincy. In a back and forth affair, each team had the lead at various points of the game and each team had serious issues stopping the other one. In the end, turnovers and defense were the difference as Kansas State was able to get key turnovers at critical times and Cincy could not stop them from driving the field to score the winning points. A great game, even if the outcome wasn't favorable for me!
