Sparty started this game off pretty bad. Probably the worst start under coach KorbenDallas yet.
Chiles started with a backwards sack fumble that was recovered in the endzone by Purdue and the Purdue D line was just getting started.
Chiles was under pressure all game long leading to 4 Interceptions and the one fumble.
Purdue's offense took a turn to pound town in a change of pace for the Boilermakers. Racking up 166 yards on the ground and only 176 through the air. But Sparty's bend but don't break strategy just wasn't enough in todays game!
The Boilermakers were able to win 41-24 in East Lansing.
On the first play of the game, the Boilmaker's dline were able to get to MSU QB Aiden Chiles, forcing a fumble that was recovered in the endzone by DT M BA. The Boilermakres followed it up with 2 touchdown drives, ending in rushing touchdowns for RB Devin Mockobee. MSU was able to get a deep shot to Alante Brown to take it to 21-7 at the end of the first.
The Boilermakers continued to control the ball on the ground, ending a 6 minute drive with a touchdown pass to TE Max Klare. Trading field goals, the score was 31 - 10 at half.
The only score of the 3rd quarter came off a long run for MSU RB Nate Carter.
To ice the game, the Boilermakers were able to score on another long drive capped off by a Devin Mockobee rushing touchdown.
The Boilermakers travel to Indiana next week for their rivalry game.
