Article By: In the final game of the regular season for Oregon, the Ducks found themselves in a defensive battle on the road at Wisconsin. Despite their record, the Badgers played tough defense all game long, holding the high scoring Ducks to just 17 total points.
Oregon actually scored on its first drive, but a third down pass over the defense let Wisconsin tie the score, while they added a 1-yard TD run with seconds left in the half on 4th and short for a 14-10 halftime lead. However, that was the last points of the game for the Badgers. Oregon would score on a four-yard pass over the middle to Evan Stewart, and after coming up with a pick midway through the fourth, the only turnover of the game for either team, Jordan James would run the ball on six consecutive plays, including 4th and short where he picked up six yards to allow Oregon to run out the clock.
