After the Rockets dropped a game against EMU everybody was down and it showed. If it wasnt for senior running back Jaquez Stuart toledo drops another game. Stuart led the Rockets with 270 yards on the ground. CMU pass defense was the best Toledos seen all year. Quarterback Tucker Gleason had another game where it looked like he was lost the entire game. coach smitty said we will be looking at every option at quarterback this week. He also said that they wont win many more games with 33 passing yards in a game. Stud Wide Receiver Newton is so frustrated with his lack of touches he was the first one out of the locker room after the win.
Coming into tonight's game both teams wanted to establish the ground game. Well Toledo was able to run the ball when they wanted to while CMU was stuck in reverse for most the night. Toledo fed their monster at RB and CMU had no answer. They ran the ball at will on us tonight. Inside, outside, options, draws, counters it was all just working. The Toledo O-line was just dominating up front. A few early interceptions from Bert Emanual really put CMU behind the 8 ball in this game. Stuart carried the load tonight for the Rockets and carried it well
