So something is weird with our Box Score.... Because it shows that... which if you add it up, has OSU winning 51-47... but it shows the score as 52-51 Purdue... but the score we saw is 58-52 Purdue... so I think we broke the game with all of the scoring.

Anyways. GG Purdue. Good luck the rest of the way.

Spoilermakers Shootout Win in the Shoe

Article By: dub6582

In a high scoring thriller, the Purdue Boilermakers win at the Shoe.

The buckeyes started with the ball, scoring on a 52 yard touchdown run. C.J. Smith then made his presence known, scoring on a 97 yard kickoff return touchdown. The teams then traded more touchdown, leaving a score of 21-14 after the first.

Both defenses made some plays in the second, trading off pick 6s. A 75 yard pass to C.J. Smith gave him his second on the day.

The third quarter saw 2 touchdown passes to WR Andrew Sowinski. He had over a 100 yards on the day.

Another long bomb 80 yard pass to C.J. Smith in the 4th put the Boilermakers up. A Buckeye touchdown put them down 3. The Boilermakers were up 3 with 3 minutes remaining. The Boilermakers were able to wind down the clock to 19 seconds, going up 6 by a clutch 46 yard field goal.

The Buckeyes were not left with enough time to score again.

Now on a 4 game win streak, the Boilermakers travel to East Lansing next week.

Great game seeitsaveit, and good luck through the rest of your season.
