"Sorry I lose every game for us" says Will Rogers to an O-lineman

University of "Welp"

Article By: Doodee

"Welp," said Coach Doodee to start his postgame press conference. "That's really about all I have got to say."

The University of Washington Huskies lost to the Indiana Hoosiers 33-13, after being tied 13-13 and throwing a pick six right before the half.

The two teams had traded touchdown drives to open the game, and were pretty evenly matched until Rogers just started gifting interceptions.

"He likes to throw to the outside, unfortunately," said the coach. "And those throws are leading to pick sixes. He's making most of the throws to our guys, but all it takes is a couple to their team to hand them the game."

Rogers had showed great improvement in the first half and led the offense on two successful touchdown drives culminating in TD passes to Giles Jackson and Jeremiah Hunter, but ultimately started getting a little too trigger happy as the Coach started getting deeper into the playbook.

"We've still got a lot of the playbook that we are trying to learn, and we've got to get back on the practice field and really look through it. Ultimately though, Indiana had some great coverage on a couple throws and they sealed the win."

"If anyone can tell me why we suck in the red zone so bad, I'd love to hear it," he said as he walked away from the podium. Several press and fans could be heard screaming answers to him.

103 Yard Pick 6 Sealed the Deal

The Hoosier defense won this game on the backs of their defense. Thank goodness they did because the Husky defense absolutely shut down the Hoosier run game. We could not move the ball on the ground.

Earlier in the game James Sharp had two pick sixes of 71 and 32 yards. Then came the 4th quarter.

In the 4th quarter, the Huskies threw into the endzone. That score would have brought them within 3 points of the Hoosiers. Fortunately for the fans in Bloomington, CJ West came down with the ball in the end zone and returned it for a 103 yard touchdown.

Coach P is a big fan of coach DooDee. "He's right there. He's always in it. He played Iowa and Michigan down the final moments. We were fortunate to come away with the win".

It was a somber victory for Coach P who spent six seasons in Spokane as the head coach. "We hope the Huskies turn this thing around and win out going forward".
