The season keeps getting longer and longer for the Warhawks. They dug a deep hole and could never come out. They had a few deep drives, but turnovers really cost the Warhawks. A short, missed FG right at the half really had the Warhawks defeated and they entered the locker room down 24-0 at the half. The Jaguars added another FG to make it 27-0 before ULM was fortunate to drive the ball into the endzone. They would score 2 more times, but it just wasn't enough. Coach Taruncheel had the following to say. "I am proud that the boys did not quit. I wanted to throw in the towel after watching the fumbles and interception, but the boys continued to play. Our Offensive Line needs to do a better job of protecting our QB and HB. They took a lot of hits and Herring had trouble finding his receivers. Overall, I am proud of the team and we will continue to look for ways to get in the win column.

The South Alabama Jaguars notched another win on Saturday night as the Jags hosted ULM under the lights. Freshman QB Gio Lopez threw for over 200 yards and 4 touchdowns! Star safety Jaden Voison had 15 total tackles, a pass deflection, 2 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. The Jags look forward to Louisiana Layfette after their bye week, as the Jags look to stay perfect in Sun Belt play.
