The fourth quarter saw Tulane pulling away again. Makhi Hughes scored on a 4-yard run, with Knott's kick at 6:10, and Reggie Brown caught a 7-yard pass from Thompson, with Knott's kick extending the lead at 4:14. Rice's Drayden Dickmann kept their hopes alive with a 60-yard pass from Warner, and Horn's kick at 3:32. However, Tulane sealed the victory with Jayden Lewis intercepting a pass and returning it 65 yards for a touchdown, with Knott's kick at 1:14.

Rice came in to Tulane and got an L put on them. Tulane hasn't got much to celebrate this year but today was a big win for the program.
Makhi Hughes worked the Owls defense for 182 yds and 2 TDs. Ty Thompson continued to theow the ball well for the second week in a row. His 4TDs and 0 picks kept the offense balanced
Rice RB Dean Conners help the owls keep pace with the wave. Rice played well but EJ Warners 3 Ints didnt help the Owls.
Jayden Lewis, Lu Tillery and Jesus Machado all had picks in the game to pace the Waves defense. Next week Denton Texas is the place for Tulane.
