Honolulu, Hawaii – The Boise State Broncos suffered a disheartening 31-19 loss to the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors on Saturday. The Broncos struggled on both sides of the ball, turning in one of their worst performances of the season.
The Broncos' offense was unable to generate much momentum throughout the game. Quarterback First Name Last Name completed just 12 of 18 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown. The running game was also ineffective, as Ashton Jeanty and Jambres Dubar combined for just 134 yards on 27 carries.
The Broncos' defense played better than the offense, but they still allowed Hawaii to move the ball effectively. The Rainbow Warriors rushed for 97 yards and passed for 228 yards, scoring 31 points. The Broncos' inability to create turnovers was also a major factor in their defeat.
The loss drops the Broncos' record to 2-4. They will need to improve significantly if they want to remain in contention for a bowl game.
