Louisiana (AP) - The MTSU Raiders visited coach JeffMO and his La Tech Bulldogs, beating them 28-7 en route to a strange victory that saw the MTSU Blue Raiders not run a ton of plays on offense.
"The game flew by, they ran it a lot and played ball control to keep it out of our high prolific offenses hands." Coach JeffMO owned the TOp game and kept converting on runs on 3rd down to keep the ball out of the Raiders hands.
MTSU QB Vattaiato was once again efficient, going 16/19 for 180 yards and 3 TD passes, more importantly zero interceptions.
The defense did a good job against the La Tech offense once they would cross midfield holding them to some tough situations in no mans land forcing the Bulldogs to punt several times.
MTSU moves on to play Kennesaw St next week. GG Jeffmo, nice catching up.
