Chris McClellan continues to cause chaos in the pocket

Missouri Defeats Texas A&M 7-0

Article By: BIGmike

College Station, Texas - The Missouri Tigers were able to escape with a victory in a place which some deem the most intense atmosphere in all of college football, slipping past the Aggies of Texas A&M 7-0. The Tiger offense came out on the opening possession of the game firing on all cylinders as they marched down the field and scored on a short pass from Brady Cook to Luther Burden to make the score 7-0, but from that moment on the game was a stalemate. The Aggie defense turned on the gas and started cooking with fire, harassing Cook all game long and made his life miserable. It also didn't help that kicker Blake Craig missed 2 crucial field goal attempts to keep the Aggies alive. Luckily for the Tigers their defense stepped up in a big way, holding the Aggies to just 93 of total offense. Defensive tackle Chris McClellan continued his tremendous play totaling 5 tackles, 3 for loss and a sack. "We knew going into this game it was going to be a tough one," said coach McDonagh following the game. "To play your first road game of the season in such a hostile enviroment was most certainly an eye-opening experience for us. We were just lucky to get out with the win." The Tigers now have a bye week before taking on the Auburn Tigers in week 8.
