This game was a mess for the Hoosiers from start to finish. Coach P couldn’t begin to stop #16 Northwestern’s aerial attack. Unfortunately for coach P, he was fighting both the Wildcats and Wild Lag. I don’t think you could find a coach who’d tell you TattooBoyP makes excuses after a loss, but the lag killed me in this game. Coach Matt would have likely won either way, but it would have been a lot tougher on him. We couldn’t punt or make extra points. Guys were there one second, gone the next. I truly wanted to rage quit! Lol. I immediately ordered an Ethernet cable after the game. Just a freakin mess. To date, I don’t think coach Matt90210 and TattooBoyP have ever had a match up where one or the other didn’t win by 25 to 30 points. Good game Matt!
The defense needs some work, giving up 268 yards on the ground, but boy are the Wildcats on fire. We led through the air with 330 yards passing from Jack Lausch who added 5 touchdowns, 3 of which went to stud TE Marshall Lang. Lang only had 1 catch that didnt score a TD on his way to 135 yards receiving. While the run defense was non-existent, the Wildcats pass defense was sharp, keeping the Hoosiers under 200 yards and forcing 3 INTs.
