Tuesday night's victory over #19 Oklahoma State has fans hopeful that this Wildcat team and staff has figured something out. K-State returned the turnover bug favor that they had been a victim of this whole season by intercepting Alan Bowman three times including a very late pick six to go up two scores and seal the game. K-State was methodical on Offense working the run into the quick and medium passing game. Coach bearass said they had worked all week on a new passing mechanic switch styles based on a Tik-Tok video he saw during the off week. The defense here was the real story forcing 3 turnovers and forced several long third downs which took Ollie Gordon out of the game. It looked to be a long night for the Wildcats after Gordon took a 3rd and inches 70 yards to the house on the opening drive, but the Cats settled down and held OSU to only 7 more rushing yards through the game.
The Cats are in the midst of their toughest stretch of the season, with 4 ranked teams in a row, starting with this #19 Oklahoma State game, they will see 3 more ranked teams in a row, including matchups with an explosive #12 Colorado team, HoF Coach in Shel's #14 West Virginia team, and the Sunflower Showdown with upstart #13 Kansas to follow.
GG O-State.
