Georgia State blown out in rivalry game

Georgia State hosted the hated Georgia Southern Eagles for an opening Sunbelt Conference game. The game started with both offenses moving the ball and scoring at will. Then Cody Gibson started throwing the ball to the Eagles more than the Panthers which resulted in a 28-point second half for the Eagles. The Eagles' elusive QB was hard for the Panthers to keep bottled up and the Eagles soared away for an easy win.

Georgia State will hit the bye week with a lot of practice to see if they can find a QB and offensive rhythm to help eke out a win or two this season. There is no hope for the defense,.
