Oregon State was able to defeat San Diego state Aztecs forcing five turnovers on the day. They are also very able to throw and run for over 200 yards on day securing a five out of seven red zone rating on the day.
Now the beavers will rest up and prepare for their next set of opponents in weeks three and four.
The San Diego State Aztecs dropped their season opener to the Oregon State Beavers 38-21, a tough start but not entirely unexpected. Despite moving the ball effectively on offense, the defense struggled to contain Oregon State, leading to a challenging game.
Quarterback AJ Duffy and the offense showed promise, managing to score and drive the ball well. However, defensive lapses allowed the Beavers to score consistently, highlighting areas that need improvement.
While the loss is disappointing, it's important to remember that this is just the first game of the season. The Aztecs were not favored in this matchup, and there's plenty of football left to play. The key now is to learn from this game and make the necessary adjustments.
Let’s stay supportive and keep our eyes on the bigger picture. The season is just beginning, and there’s every reason to believe the best is yet to come.
