Story of the game was the execution from the red zone. The Panthers were a terrific 3 for 3 while the Owls were a terrible 0 for 2. You take one of those field goals and make it a touchdown and you have yourself a tie ball game. Tip your hats to coach Mvikes as he managed the game very well and converted key plays in the red zone. His defense kept me off balance and made it difficult to score. The owls had a chance to tie the game but had a dropped two point conversion from a wide open slot receiver. The Panthers would then control the ball and punch it in late in the fourth to go up 9. The Owls would fall short on a third and long and decided to hit a field goal to get within a score with 30 seconds to go. A failed onside kick would seal the game. Good game Vikes and best of luck the rest of the season.
This was a tough game we were able to hold temple to 3 FG's but as coach Footballkelly said it was a 2pt try and drop from a wide open receiver that helped us in the lead late in the game and a long missed FG try by the Owls helped, the Owls played us tough as did our defense, a close no turnover game from both teams we just had a few more Td's but we both had our chances, gg and gl in the season coach footballkelly.
