After the real football season ended, the BYU coach had time to finally get in an NDL game and although it had been a couple months since last picking up the ps3 controller, the offense showed little signs of rust and the defense couldn't stop anyone. WR Cody Hoffman was the star of the game as he had 6 catches for 173 yards and 1 td. This set the stage for a big play late in the game as the Huskers faced a 3rd and one from the BYU 6 and with 22 seconds left and a 4 point lead, the game came down to the next two plays. Nebraska picked up half of the yard on the first try which set up for a 4th and inches. The defense gambled and brought pressure from the outside and got to the RB for a -3 yard gain and the defense made the stop and the game ended 35-31.
