Clemson, SC - The Tigers defense proved to be to stout for the North Texas Mean Green on this day. The Tigers picked off UNT 7 different times and sacked the QB twice. North Texas was unable to put any drives together that resulted in points leaving the final score 24-0.
Offensively Clemson didn't put much together but weren't really in a position where they had to worry about putting drives together. "We just took advantage of the position our defense put us in and then did our best to kill the clock" commented Coach Wasted after the game.
