i'd add to this that it isn't like there are 15-20 DOMINANT starting pitchers in the league like their used to be either. At least it doesn't seem that way

its almost like we're having the reverse argument like they have about real life (ie- if pedro martinez pitched in the '50s he'd have won 500 games)

In our league if Jeremy Lehman, among others, was in the current offensive landscape, he'd go 25-1 every year with an ERA below 2

I haven't really done any research in past drafts, but if they were like this one that would be the reason for more dominant pitching going on. In this years draft we had a lot of low contact high power guys in the draft. And looking at some of my picks over the past couple of years it seems that rang true for those drafts as well.
