Yeah offense is basically nonexistent in this league. Entire AL is hitting .238 with an OBP barely over .300
i'd add to this that it isn't like there are 15-20 DOMINANT starting pitchers in the league like their used to be either. At least it doesn't seem that way
its almost like we're having the reverse argument like they have about real life (ie- if pedro martinez pitched in the '50s he'd have won 500 games)
In our league if Jeremy Lehman, among others, was in the current offensive landscape, he'd go 25-1 every year with an ERA below 2
