So get rid of the freeloading gm's who don't take care of their team properly. I dunno, I wanna see this league do great but I literally could have skipped half my exports this year it feels like since I had nothing to do on my team.
It’s a combination of gm’s that suck, like PO, too many quality players in game, lack of injuries.
All those things all lead us to the same place.
Injuries would force teams to trade more and make 40 man spots extremely valuable. I currently know I’m only using 30-35 tops of my guys no matter what happens this season and I can just protect a few minor leaguers for shits and giggles rather than potentially risk losing them even tho I wouldn’t care if i lost them. That shouldn’t happen, each 40 man spot should be valuable and take thought
The greatest part of reading the boards any more is just to see the name calling of people who don't agree with your ideology.
Kind of in the air on this one. I totally get the needing depth part and how it would take more planning/strategy, etc ... but the injury part still irks me after all the crap my team went through with its starting rotation a few seasons back.
I'm currently a No vote, but could be swung to a Yes. I'd want to know what setting we're at currently and what setting is being proposed. in my experience, the OOTP injury settings are not linear (as in one tick up from anything increases it the same as any other). It's more like
None
Very very few
Some kinda
DEATH TO ALL PLAYERS

What to do, what to do....
Also this. I build for depth and platoons a ton offensively just as my default setting as a GM, so in that regard I'd be greatly helped here.
On the other hand, season before last I had just a nightmare run of SP injuries so I'm scarred by OOTP as it is

MooseJaw and Neurotic are the leaders in the clubhouse of the "if you don't agree with me you're an idiot" bros.
See George, it's not hard to man up and name names!!

Not directly at you...well kinda I guess lol but...
The funny thing is while of course if we turn injuries up a notch, at some point each team will get hit and it will suck. But it seems all the naysayers are just assuming that they will be the ones who get hit the worse. You're not really factoring in all the times that the injury luck will roll in your favor and help you get that playoff spot or not have to face a team with 2 studs in the ALCS or whatever.
You guys just assume you'll always have the worst luck which is silly because everyone knows I'm going to have the worst luck.

Damn, stupid me. How could I realize making my side of the argument was the way to go?!?! Next time I'll jump straight into being a contrarian asshole like George since his way of doing things seems to work.
My bad for trying to spice things up in a league where the season threads are getting shorter and less filled with baseball and more filled with Nick and George prepping to fight at the bike rack afterschool.

Hmmm, what's so contradicting in any of my opinions?
And if Nick and I didn't go back and forth the season threads would be extremely boring, kind of like how slack is
Edit:. Also meant to thank you for the asshole comment. I'm sure it's deserved by some towards me but could honestly I cant recall one interaction with you to call me that. Just shows how inconsequential you are in the greater schemes of my NDL life
Voted Yes. While I think there's more then enough injuries... it'll kill teams that love to run their players into the ground and I like that advantage.

Lol what opinions. All you do is take the opposite of the majority because you're an attention whore. Your comment about Slack isn't even eligible since you proclaim to never use it anyway and I don't interact with you because I learned to ignore the 4 year olds crying for attention a long time ago. Sometimes I slip up there.
