Re: Playstation Vue/Youtube TV/Hulu+
JD, when we talked about it awhile back, I was pretty set on going with Directv Now due to the larger channel offerings. Each of the others had something that was missing (Viacom stuff, a sports channel, etc). Ultimately, I got Dish to bend the knee and they gave me a $60 per month credit, no contract, good for 10 months. Took me going 3 deep to get there. It went $20, $40 and then finally $60. They wanted a 1yr agreement, I told them no, they offered the 10mos, no contract, I went with it.

Two things:
I think this is the first year of free streaming of the Super Bowl online (without stealing it). CBS Sports App is streaming it out for free. I may compare it to the cable stream to check quality.
We're at $205 a month. It's sickening. I'll have to break down cost later as I have a meeting to get to.

My credit will be coming off in the next 2 months or so and I've started to notice some reception issues due to my tree growing and blocking the satellite. I don't think I'm going to bother with having them move it (or moving it myself). I'm considering Playstation Vue... seems to be the best for DVR and sports.
Anyone using anything else that compares or any thoughts on Vue heading into football season?

Reign,
See if this works for you, but I just did a spreadsheet comparing some of them.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
Fubo is a very nice option, but it is the most expensive too.

Re: Playstation Vue/Youtube TV/Hulu+
Is there a way to get Sunday Ticket without having DirecTv?
I'm Xfinity now, and they have Redzone, but I'm going to need to get the Browns games for my wife so I'll need more than redzone

If you know someone who is a college student, who doesn't want to take advantage of this deal, you can try this:Seeitsaveit13 wrote:Is there a way to get Sunday Ticket without having DirecTv?

https://slickdeals.net/f/13263241-nfl-s ... SiteSearch
Essentially, $80 for the fall for Sunday Ticket with a valid college email address/date of birth (which they apparently confirm). You can have the bills/address be any address, just the name and email have to be a current student.

Can't hurt to try.
You can order Sunday ticket though without being a DirecTV customer.
See if you are eligible: https://nflst.directv.com/
Should you be eligible, you'll have two package choices: NFLST.TV To Go and NFLST.TV Max. The To Go package features every live out-of-market game (aka the ones you can't watch on local TV) on every Sunday afternoon during the regular season. It costs $73.49 per month for 4 months, or a single payment of $293.96.

Re: Playstation Vue/Youtube TV/Hulu+
I don't think I'm going to be eligible. Our apartment complex recently switched away from DirecTv to Xfinity, but it was still offered that they'd come install individual dishes for each apartment if people wanted. I'm pretty sure their system will still see me as eligible for DirecTv and therefore ineligible for this deal.The_Niddler wrote:Can't hurt to try.

Probably just have my parents get Sunday Ticket at their house and use their streaming login if I have to.

Re: Playstation Vue/Youtube TV/Hulu+
If anyone has Sunday Ticket, can we share it?
Can I use it on my Roku using your login and I will pay you for it?
I want to watch my Browns and where I currently live, they play Pittsburgh or Cincy games and I am not eligible to get it without paying for DirecTV service to get the Sunday Ticket.

My coworker has a valid .edu account and let me use it.
I also learned you cannot split it as you can only stream from 1 device at a time per account.
$85.77 total with tax using the slickdeals deal.

I updated my spreadsheet after a article I read today.
If anyone wants to use it to compare streaming services, you can view it here:

I have my .edu account still no problem, but not sure what they do/do not verify.

Takes two seconds to put it in and see if you are eligible.
And yes, he is a current student.
He is going for a few certifications to become a Treasurer for a school district.
