I've avoided the injury bug much of the season....now I lose a key infielder and outfielder, both of whom were my hottest hitters this month.

So if a guy wasn't on our 25 man roster at any point this season BEFORE the September callups, he can't be used in the playoffs, right?

I for one cannot let myself think of my team as a playoff team! I will be thrilled to make it (if I do) my AAA team is trying to defend it's title , and my ML team has a shot at the playoffs. But until i'm in it, not on my mind! that's why I ain't talking shit! I am thrilled to be above 500 against all you RAT BASTARDS! LOLOL! this season is a huge success for the Cobra's any way you cut it! Jason is a rival team ( the stinking clover eating cows) lol it's been a blast to see the young man get nervous and worried that the "old bastard won't go away" lolol I say we all get on COD and go shoot mouthy ass teenagers! I love that shit! (sorry corey about Cod stuff) this has been a fun Season for me. AJ bro you are Still DA Man always in beefy's book! beefy

Find someone, preferably not in the playoffs, to text you updates and give them a password and they can make changes for you.

Not it. :)
Apparently it is easier to just bitch about it. :D

I am more than happy to help guys out.
Baker, if you would like help, just PM or AIM me your info and I can get in and do what you would like done.

Lol, I'm definitely not "bitching" about it. I was just stating I'm essentially throwing in the towel on this season. Yes, I could've had someone to take over my team...but honestly, was very busy before I left and OOTP wasnt atop my priority list and didn't get it taken care of, and I figured the wireless would work good enough where of I had time to export I could, well it's not. Im here for 10 days, sleeping a few hours here n there when I have to and have to stop for a minute to even realize what day it is. I'm having a blast, and I put OOTP and my team on hold...that's what I was saying, not bitching.

So good luck to you guys in the playoffs, and Albany will be back in business in the offseason.

Beefy, that's why I asked. Because as I understand the rule, they have to be on the FORTY MAN roster come August 31st to be playoff eligible, not the 25 man. That's why I'm trying to get clarification.

He'd look good in a Sheltown uniform next season as our 4th starter or so.

did you think I was hiding this from people? I've told YOU about how I do this multiple times. when i'm in trade negotiations I always tell guys, go check out my short A team, I have guys like Jeff Shelton down there that could probably help your teams depth. the last thing i'm trying to do is hide or get an advantage on my short A team. come on dude. you think i'm trying to hang those banners in my Short A stadium? you think i'm thinking, hmmm if I can stunt trendon's 20-20 guys on his short A team i'm going to have an advantage going forward.

i'm more than fine having this conversation, because I think the leagues entire minor league structure is completely fucked up. from the amount of players, how development works, to how minor leaguers should retire a yr after not playing in the minors, etc.

anyways, I appreciate the fact you think you're having your 'aha... gotcha' moment. nice work private eye.
The amount of players is accurate.

And, no, I caught you red-handed on the hypocrisy. This is worse than draft pick trading and non-five man rotations.

Donald Jacobs Out for 8 Months: The Brooklyn Nitros were informed today by team doctors that starting pitcher Donald Jacobs sustained a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in a recent game against the Bonnie Lock-Woodsetter North Fortresses and will not play for 8 months. Jacobs was hurt throwing a pitch.

This season Jacobs has compiled a 9-10 record with a 4.06 ERA in 22 starts.
Recorded zero outs against the AAAA Connecticut Chokers and look what happens in his next start. Anyone have twelve 30-year-olds I can fill my low A team with?

Louie Gaudreau, first Launch player to hit 40 home runs and, more importantly, 19 of them were at home.

Im sure dave wansnt doing anything with malice intent, but on the flip side, I would be curious if there are any implications (to other teams)

no no ... Trendon caught me being a hypocrite red handed.

i was trying to cheat the system by publicly putting players in my short A team (i put a cheat code in so nobody could see those guys). I've managed my system the same way for every season I've been involved.

MOST GUYS DON'T EVEN MANAGE THEIR MINORS.

if Trendon is so worried about the impact on other players development, maybe we should look at the flip side of it.
