you know if Paul wanted to focus on solely being an assists guy and not score he could do the same type of assists numbers that Rondo does and he turns the ball over much less than Rondo. (and he puts up elite level assists anyways on top of shooting around 50% and not turning it over and being an elite defensive pg)

If I was invading an alien colony... I'd take Rondo.... and Sam Cassell.

That is awesome.

All stadiums need that greatness.

The state of Texas must be overcompensating for something

The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded James Harden, Daequan Cook, Lazar Hayward and Cole Aldrich to the Houston Rockets for Jeremy Lamb, Kevin Martin and future draft picks

interesting though, obviosuly they felt they couldn't do the max deal for him. To me this says A) must be thinking longterm with Maynor as 2nd PG because James really filled that need last year in his abscence and that martin will just be the off the bench points man. and B) they must really like what they're getting out of the kid we got from Baylor in the draft whose name is escaping me right now...jones? C) Cole Aldrich must be that bad to trust in Thabeet as #2 5 for the season unless they're planning on doing some more dealing. The trading more players for some draft picks though tends to make me think they bring Orton back in having just cut him to get back to 15.

I actually think this is not a bad deal at all for OKC. They'll obviously miss the scoring that Harden gave them but Martin will give them some solid points off the bench and if Lamb pans out at all then they'll be getting pretty much what they had with Harden at a lower price.

I don't know.. when I asked about Lamb, Driccio didn't compare him to Harden, he compared him to Rich Hamilton if I remember right. And some of the numbers I have seen about Harden in terms of efficiency, and offensive ability is pretty impressive.

I just hope as a Rockets fan, that Harden can handle the pressure of being the #1 guy, because that is what the Rockets are considering him.

And that scoreboard is awesome, but man I bet tickets are now even that much higher to watch a Rockets game.

Lakers lose on opening night at home to the Mavs without Nowitzki. On a scale of 1-10 how much will the media overreact? I'm saying 11.

An 11 is generous. I hate the SoCal media so much. Also annoyed that 19 different people texted me after to complain. ONE GAME of 82. People are so irrational...nope, just typical Laker fans.

I know its the pistons,, but i like what I m seeing from the Rockets offensively so far.. Harden and Lin look like they have some pretty good chemistry already. I know they are not relevant in the grand scheme of things, but looks I ll at least enjoy watching them play.

NIce debut by Harden... 37 points (14-25), 12 assist, 6 boards, and 4 steals.. guess he wanted to make a statement..

Lin in his first game reg season game not too bad.. 12 points 8 assist and 4 steals..

hopefully this is a sign of the future, and I can look forward to the Rockets being better then mediocre in a couple of seasons.
