Peruvian food is great. I haven't been, but I've had some friends food. Just dive in and enjoy, ask what it is later (probably nothing too crazy).

I hear the pre-dawn walk up above Machu Pichu gives amazing views of it with the sunrise. And there are virtually no crowds then
