Re: NBA Thread
Geez, the Mavericks looked rusty with a capital Tetanus! (well, first half anyway, I couldn't watch anymore after that).
Merry Christmas!

Re: NBA Thread
If you think people will leave him alone after he wins a title you are sorely mistaken. It will just cue the criticism that he had to move to miami to do it. Or that he can't win one without wade. He'll need to win the finals 1 on 5 to get any credit and even then he'd get criticized for having no assists.sammy33 wrote:I don't care if I'm a Lakers fan. I want that to happen so people will leave LBJ alone.Cnasty wrote:I'm pretty pumped the NBA is back.
Some nice story lines, new faces in big places, and the Heat start their title journey.
Re: NBA Thread
I never thought I would see the back court of Rickey Rubio and JJ Barrea be so impressive. The wolves look nice. Man Addelman got them hustling. This is great to see.
Re: NBA Thread
LBJ isn't the villain anymore. He lost, and he admitted to playing horrible. People moved on. Now he can go back to being the most dominating NBA player ever.

They have so many "fun" players to watch its awesome. Will enjoy them for the 2 week free nBA league pass as I won't see them ever again for the rest of the year.doc wrote:I never thought I would see the back court of Rickey Rubio and JJ Barrea be so impressive. I just need Minny to have the worst record in the league, and they can still be as fun to watch as possible. Thanks.

Re: NBA Thread
Don't worry, once everyone figures out that you can play six feet off him and clog up passing lanes because he can't shoot, which should be any day now, they'll start working on that worst record in the league. Once that happens they'll have to run for him to be effective and I'm not sure they're built to be a fast paced team on an every night basis. Plus there's that whole defense thing. A country best known for diving on the soccer field, having institutionilzed mid-day naps, torturing Jews (The Inquisition! What a show!), and building giant navies only to see the English sink them isn't going to produce a lot of NBA quality defenders.shel311 wrote:I just need Minny to have the worst record in the league, and they can still be as fun to watch as possible. Nba league pass is pretty sweet.
You Minnesota and dc area people have funny commercials. Haven't heard of half of these businesses.

Re: NBA Thread
Same crap.
Turn the zone on agains Miami and wade and Bron stand around and let Boston back in it.
Thank you Norris Cole for hitting shots.
Will be interesting to see if the Heat can get their conditioning to keep that torrid pace up the entire 48 minutes as they tired late.
2-0 is 2-0.

Love is a monster.
I watched that game last night and he looks like he lost a ton of weight and improved his quickness without losing his rebounding skills.
Him, josh smith, and Kendrick Perkins must have all went on the same diet.
