CFP Blind Resume Rankings
Article By: We all have our preconceived notions of teams, our crutches that we lean on to rank teams. We all hear the phrases, not knocking my media brethren crutch arguments are a massive thing everywhere. Listen or read anything in the fantasy sports world.
So what are we doing here. We are wiping away the bias. Blind resumes based on the numbers.
Quad 1 wins = 5 points
Quad 2 wins = 4 points
Quad 3 wins = 2 points
Quad 4 wins = 1 point
Quad 1 losses = -2 points
Quad 2 losses = -3 points
Quad 3 losses = -4 points
Quad 4 losses = -5 point
Top 10 Massey wins = 1 point
SOS 1-25 = 1 point
SOS 26-75 = 0 points
SOS 76-134 = -1 point
For those unaware in terms of Massey rankings

The reasoning here on how the points were handed out. Quad 1 and 2 wins are the backbone of a resume. Quad 3 and 4 games are ones that any CFP team should be handling with ease. on the loss side, there is a slightly bigger penalty. While we all know a loss to a top 5 team isn't a massive deal it is a loss.
If two teams are tied I will denote it, the tiebreaker in each scenario will be in order Quad 1 points, Quad 2 points, SOS. No teams in the list have a 4 loss yet, not surprisingly. If they did they probably aren't in consideration anyway. It was a combination of the top 25 and the Massey ranks. There might be a team or 2 that could be lumped in at the back end as well, maybe in next week's edition.
While this is a "blind" resume I did have to go and select teams manually to start.
