Florida. Georgia. These two states are responsible for the worst ESPN Gameday intro in the history of the show but let's not judge them on that. Instead, we shall focus on the Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs. Two of the NDL’s most illustrious programs that are set to battle on the gridiron this weekend.
While this rivalry has had many names, to the point no one is sure what to call it, both programs are consistent and steady and in the hunt for more trophies here in NDL Season 32.

Florida and Georgia serve as two of the winningest teams in the NDL standing second and sixth in the NDL Team ELO ratings respectively.
They both have National Championships with the Gators having won five and the Bulldogs having won two.
They both have NDL Cup Championships with the Gators having won three and the Bulldogs having won two.
They also have two NDL Vets at the helm.
Not only does BIGmike have a cat that looks just like Ron Perlman, he also has a lot of history coaching the Florida Gators. In fact, his current stint is his fourth time taking coaching responsibilities in Gainesville. With a 400-86 lifetime record in the NDL, the Gators will let BIGmike come and go as he chooses.
BIGmike is responsible for three of Florida’s NDL National Championships and both NDL Cup Championships.
BIGmike was also responsible for giving Florida the upper hand early in this rivalry having led Florida to victories in four straight seasons from season four through season seven which resulted in a five game winning streak for the Gators over the Bulldogs.
However, times have changed. On the opposing sideline in this high profile matchup is a legend in his own right. Dcane7.
Dcane7 does not have the trophy case of a BIGmike but few do. What Dcane7 does have however is momentum.
As the head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs, Dcane has amassed 33 wins over the past three seasons, including two victories over Florida.
In fact, Dcane7 led the Georgia Bulldogs to victory over BIGmike and the Florida Gators just last season adding to the lore and intensity of this season's matchup where the Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators both sit with one loss. Those losses came in SEC Play as well, making this matchup huge in an effort to avoid a second SEC loss in the midway point of the season.
