BLOCK 2 BEST GAMES!!!!

West Virginia 56, Pitt 52
Another chapter added to the Backyard Brawl, and this one was pure chaos. West Virginia, behind a historic night from Garrett Greene, outlasted Pitt in a 56-52 shootout. Greene threw for a staggering 605 yards and 5 touchdowns, battling through adversity and two interceptions to post a 222.1 passer rating. WVU’s offense racked up 683 yards, showing explosiveness and resilience, especially during a 21-point fourth quarter surge to snatch the win. Defense was shaky at times, but when it mattered, the Mountaineers made just enough plays. Coach Allen summed it up: "Resilience, fire, and finishing the fight."

UCF 55, TCU 52 (2OT)
If you love defense scoring points, this was your game. A total of six turnovers and four defensive touchdowns made this a wild Big 12 clash. Josh Hoover threw for 390 yards and 6 TDs for TCU, but also 3 costly interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns. UCF's balanced rushing attack kept the offense afloat while their defense scored at crucial moments. The game turned on back-to-back defensive touchdowns by UCF late in the fourth quarter. In double overtime, Demari Henderson’s interception and Colton Boomer’s game-winning field goal sealed a thrilling UCF victory in Coach Carman’s emotional return.

Colorado 52, Baylor 38
The Buffaloes survived an early scare in Waco thanks to a massive second-half comeback. After trailing by 17, Colorado’s defense stepped up big, returning two interceptions for touchdowns to swing momentum. Shedeur Sanders led with 361 passing yards and 2 touchdowns (plus 60 rushing yards), while Hood exploded for 176 total yards and 4 TDs. Baylor ripped off multiple long touchdown runs, but Colorado’s late defensive stands and a punishing ground attack in the fourth quarter iced the game. A gritty Big 12 road win for Coach Prime and crew.

Kansas State 48, BYU 42
Talk about a collapse and a comeback. BYU sprinted to a 28-3 lead early, but Kansas State stormed back with 35 unanswered points in the second half. BYU's offense, led by Miles Davis (152 total yards and 2 TDs) and a defensive pick-six from Jakob Robinson, gave them a fighting chance late. However, Kansas State’s late field goal proved decisive. BYU drove into K-State territory in the final seconds, but a game-ending interception crushed their hopes. A painful but thrilling loss for the Cougars, and a resilient win for the Wildcats.
